Mexican Tarragon or Marigold (Tagetes lucida) is native to Mexico and throughout Central America. It has been used as incense for it's fragrance and insect repelling properties. Mixed with tobacco it is claimed to produce psychotropic effect. Like Calamus it can be used to treat hangover, relax nervous stomach and to calm the nerves.
